Passion for Pro Markers card 3

This is my 3rd card for the Passion for Pro Markers challenge 1. I really enjoyed making this card as I think it is really girly and pink, and I love girly and pink things! I really wanted to achieve 7 cards for this challenge, one for each day, but I dont think I am going to do it unless I work my bum off tommorrow night and make 4.. You never know, I might do it!

You cant really see from the photo, but the two smaller ramparts have little heart gems stuck on them, and the princesses dress has 6 gems on, aswell as on her necklace!

Phew! Its so HOT!

This weather is so blimming gorgeous! And here I am, sat in my TIDY crafting room!

I have just had a BIG sort out! And tidy up as my room looked like a bomb had hit it!

We nipped to Ikea today as I needed some more plants for our office (Director is coming around so they wanna make the place a bit brighter?!) and I wanted a few little bits for me!

I got 2 of those mini easel things, those are way cute and a bargain at only 69p EACH! I also got one of those rail things you attach to a wall with the little bucket type thingys that attached on it! Thought they would suit my Pro Markers down to the ground! And some of those little spice pots (The packs of 4 that look like little sweety jars!) to house my brads and pips and stuff! All organised, now time for some serious crafting!

Be back later with some bits to show you (Hopefully lol)

Rhonda is giving away some High Hopes stamps!

Get over to her blog now to be in with a chance of winning!

Hannah has got some great candy up for grabs!

Go and check out her blog and enter her candy to be in with a chance of winning! :)

I CANNOT BELIEVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have just got back from the Post Office as I had a few things to post, including some more images for Kimberley (What all the below posts are about!) and I asked for it to be sent recorded delivery this time as last time, it just cost me the price of a large stamp.

Then, the checkout lady says to me "You have got the wrong postcode!"

All this stress and upsetment because she didnt give me the right bloody well postcode!!!

Well, I do hope she, her mum and her gran are reading this post, in embarrassment!!!!

I wont expect an apology from either of them because it is probably beneath them!

On a more positive note, I have just got back from town and bought myself two nice new tops, some new perfume (Kate Moss Velvet Hour - smells LUSH!) and Alex a bottle of the new Diesel 'Only The Brave' - Typical aint it, my perfume cost me £10.95, his was £27!

I hope everyone is having a lovely friday and making the most of this gorgeous weather!

Sorry to keep returning back to my previous posts..

But here is the proof!

I have blanked out the address details for obvious reasons! Everyone else I posted to last week recieved their bits! I just didnt want this experience (If I can call it that lol) to ruin future swaps for me! :)

Anyway! Enough of that bitchyness!

Here's some of my recent makes!

This one is for the Craft Bubble challenge 'Fairytale'

And this one for another challenge on Craft Bubble

Will be back later with some more, as I have made 2 for the Passion for Pro Markers challenge!

FAO: Lynne (comment from my previous post!)

In response to your comment:

"Yes, this has got really sad, hasn't it Katie Louise? Kimberley is the child here, not you although one wouldn't think so. You are quite right, all this unpleasantness could have been avoided had you just sent this bairn her images. She sent you yours in good faith, there is no question of RAK here - let's be clear, it was supposed to be a fair swop. There has been enough communication between the two of you for you to know that she hadn't received hers without you making excuse after excuse. Any mother would have become involved at this stage but without looking for support from people who don't have all the relevant information and shouldn't be making comments on situations they don't understand.

Lynne"

I didnt want to respond to this on your blog because I think its totally unfair, so I dont mind doing it on my own! An email from Kimberley asking what has happened would have been sufficient, not to have to pass it to her mother to email me a VILE, NASTY and SPITEFUL email. If Kimberley is old enough to participate in swaps and such likes, she should be old enough to send an email asking what is going on.

I didnt mention anything about a RAK, infact, it was Kimberleys mother in the VILE, NASTY AND SPITEFUL email... Get your facts straight before you go accusing!

Enough said, I am getting very PISSED off with accusations being thrown from people that dont even know me (Infact, its not everyone, just TWO people inparticular!). Keep your nose out, ANOTHER set of images will be posted RECORDED delivery tommorrow as I have stated. Please do NOT bother coming back on my blog as you are not welcome!

Thank you and goodbye!

Copy of this horrible email!

Katie Louise

- sent you the images you agreed to swap last Monday. Her granny posted them first class post from her work. They were logged on the system there along with several other packages containing other images, so I am confident they were definitely posted. I am so disappointed that - has not received her images from you.

I see from your blog that you have had some difficulty with image swaps previously. I don't understand why you seem to be the only person who is having difficulty receiving their images and also in the ones you say you sent not being received; there seems to be no good reason for this. Other people involved in this type of activity don't have these problems.

I'm afraid I don't quite understand your story about not receiving the images - was sending you. You say you were posting hers out first class but you say you haven't received the images she sent you. Why would you post if you haven't received yours? One of your random acts of kindness?

- is only 14 years old. This is upsetting and disappointing for her. She saves her pocket money to buy her craft items and she trusted you to send her images. Should she not receive her images by the weekend, I will have no alternative but to post on my blog warning other crafters not to swap with you or not to send money to buy promarkers from you. This is not how I want be blog to be used but neither do I want my daughter to be used in this way.

Also, should I suspect that anything dishonest is occurring with the promarkers, I will have no hesitation in contacting the Nottingham Council regarding this matter or any other appropriate authority.

I expect to hear from you without further delay.

*I HAVE - OUT THE PERSONS NAME!*

I am disgusted!

I have just this minute walked into work and checked my home emails to have recieved an email from someones mother because they hadnt recieved their stamped images yet! (Just thought I would add, the girl is only 14, thats why her mum has emailed!).

The email has actually reduced me to tears because this 'person' has accused me of doing something 'Dishonest' with offering people the chance to get hold of some Promarkers at a cheaper price (For those that think I am being 'Dishonest' you can see the price I can get the for on here by downloading the Staff Purchasing April 2009 excel document and seeing for yourself). She has threatened to go to the authorities about this to, which she can because I am doing NOTHING wrong!

Can those of you that I posted things out to on Friday 22nd, please comment on this post if you have recieved them yet? I dont want any more emails ACCUSING me of doing wrong...

Upset and Angry!

Horrible weather - Time for some crafting!

The weather today has been horrible - cold and wet! We nipped out to Asda for the weekly shop, and that is it. No bike ride, far to cold for that!

However, I haven't been sat on my bum all day!

Heres some chocolate cakeys I have made today! Am excited because I am going to a cake decorating class next weekend, so just practising lol any excuse to bake something! (Although I cant eat to many of them, but im sure the people at work will dig in!)

And I have had another go at stamping on candles! This one worked out so much better (Different type of candle, this one is an Ikea smelly one!) and I used my hair dryer on a lower heat! Am happy with it so its going to my friend/colleague who is leaving our team this week! (I can feel an addiction coming on... lol)

Here is the matching card I have made her. The previous card I made is from us as a team, but this one is a bit more personal being as we have been through so much together as friends!

And here is them both together!

Stamping on candles tutorial...

OK, heres what you will need:

A pillar candle - Most importantly NOT dipped (So its full colour, not white in the centre)
White Tissue Paper - I bought a pack from The Range
Greaseproof Paper - I used white greaseproof - not sure if the colour would make a difference
Stamp of your choice
Ink pad
Markers/watercolour pencils/paints
Hair dryer

Step 1:
Ink your stamp, and stamp carefully on the tissue paper

Step 2:
Colour in stamped image, careful not to rip the tissue

Step 3:
Cut your images out, fairly close to the edges (leaving some white tissue paper)

Step 4:
Position your image on the stamp where you want it to be. Cut some greaseproof paper so that there is enough for you to hold onto. Wrap this around the candle tightly.

Step 5:
Heat the candle with the dryer until you see a change (It begins to melt) remembering to hold the greaseproof paper tight.

Step 6:
Remove the greaseproof paper and TA DAH! One stamped candle!

Things to remember!

1) Do NOT heat the candle with your hair dryer on your bed (Like I did... Oppsie! Should come out in the wash!)
2) You can have more than one stamped image! Just repeat the steps using a different piece of greaseproof for every image.

My first attempt at

Stamping on a candle! :)

Its not very good because I think I heated it to long, and the candle has been dipped so you can see the white coming through, but practise makes perfect! I am going to make one of these for my friends leaving present on Friday me thinks!

Also, a photo of my new goodies!

I went to The Range today, and thought sod it! I bought one of the do crafts goody bags which included daisy and dandelion clear stamps! And all these other bits to play with!

I was wondering, there a couple of bits that I wont ever use, would anyone like to swap?

I have this:

New and unopened clear embossing powder

3 Pigment stamp pads (Clear, white and black)

Anitas instant dimensional effect stickers (Stars and hearts)

If interested, please email or leave a comment - Back later with some creations!

What a day it has been!

Last night, I went to Bingo with my best friend, and we won £100 between us. My plan was to go to The Range tonight, and splash out on some crafty goodies. However, at work this afternoon, I wiped my eye (I get sore dry eyes because of the air con!) and there was blood on the tissue!

Ended up spending most of the afternoon in the eye casualty department! I have got a viral (sp?) infection, and have to take eye drops for a week! Feel quite down actually (Have a headache and belly ache lol), so I doubt I will get any crafting done.

I hope everyone is ok, and has a great bank holiday xx
