Susies Sassy Challenge - Lilac and Aqua

I have finally done a bit more crafting! YAY!

Seeing the girls cards on the DT gave me inspiration - I had to have a play with these colours. I had never thought about using these colours before, and here is my take on it... (And I will be using them again!)



I wanted this to be a friendship card, or a 'Just Because' card, and thought the quote 'Be who you want to be, not what others want to see' fitted it perfectly. I think it is missing something, but am not sure what (The top right hand corner looks a bit bare to me! Let me know what you think!).

My bug is coming back (Slowly, but its coming back!)

I finally spent a bit of time in my craft tip oppps I mean room! A colleague/friend asked me if I could wizz her up a 50th card for another colleague, and as she loves decoupage, I thought this one would go down well!

I havent managed to pop her name on the front, like she asked, but I still think it looks quite good! (And hope that she will like it!). I will pop her name on the insert.

And on to my next one, again using Forever Friends decoupage kit (I bought this on offer in Hobbycraft - You gotta get things on offer in there, it dont happen often lol). I dont really like using peel offs, but thought that it looked better than having a printed sentiment, like what I normally do. Please excuse the photo - it is 9.45 at night, and I havent got a decent camera (Photos are taken on my phone!).

On both cards, I have used my new forever friends backing papers, and a bit of bling (And stickles on the cake one - You cant have a cake thats not got a bit of sparkle!). Hopefully, this wont be all the cards you will see this week!

Hey all!

Sorry I have been awol for a while, just going through a stage of wanting to craft, but not actually being bothered to do any (If that makes sense?!). I hope you all got spoilt on Valentines day - I did, will be back with photos of my new ring that I got! I am hoping to get in my craft room and sort that out aswell as poping up some PIF's as I havent seen many about in blog land recently.

I am still alive, just not crafting (For now!) I think I may have to invest in some new stash for my bug to come back, what do you think?!
