Sunday Sketch and Stamp - Challenge 1: Sketch

Here is my card for the Sunday Sketch and Stamp Challenge.

I have changed the shape of the centre piece from oval to square and rotated the sketch around. I have also added more flowers to the bottom of the image, instead of adding ribbon as the backing paper is stripey enough (Think it would look a bit to much with ribbon going the same way as the stripes?)

Need help from you experienced crafters!

OK, so I need somewhere to store my stamped images (I currently have them in a gift bag on my bookshelf!). I have found the perfect box that I want to use (Its an empty washing powder box - tablets so theres no leakage of powder!) but im not sure how to cover it! I could measure out the card and glue it on, but I dont want to still see the edges, and I want it to look neat and tidy! (Rather than a half-a-jobby that I tried on my last attempt!). Any ideas of where to start?

Ta muchly, any advice would be truely, greatly appreciated!

I am BACK!

We had a lovely night away!

Although the weather was rubbish yesterday, we managed a walk along the front and a play in the arcades. Had a lovely meal in Little Frankies (A little Frankie and Bennys) and then a few malibu and cokes in the local pub!

The guest house we stayed in was lovely, Tracey (The owner) was very friendly! We went down for breakfast this morning, and I had a bowl of crunchy nut and then the lady looked shocked because me and Alex didnt want a fried breakfast! The house was very clean, and smelt nice, and the bed was comfy to which is a plus! We will definately be going back there to stay!

Anyway, here are a few photos from our trip!









We went to Seal World today, which was good (Weather was good to, no rain!!) then drove to Chapel St. Leonards and went on the beach there for an hour, had some fish and chips then started on our journey back home!

Back to normaility as of now, washing machine is on, work tommorrow! (And I hope some crafting to!)

It is a 'Key Lime Pie' and it is scrummy! It is a bit like a cheesecake but minus the cheese?!

Hmmm whats he after!

Finished work today, and the OH picked me up. Get in the car and he asks what I want to do tonight. As I am feeling a tad sore, I didnt fancy a bike ride! I needed to get a few bits from Boots, so without him moaning about going there, we set off on our travels! Gets there, and I need some new straightners (my old ones have the wires poking out - cant be good huh!) so we see some in boots for £76 odd. I said that I am sure Tesco Direct was selling them for like £40. So he said well lets go there then! Without moaning, huffing or anything! He then even offered to pay for them for me?!!? I think the weather must be cheering him up a bit! lol

Anyway, my cards have come today, so I can now go an do some crafting. I also got some new water colour pencils from Tesco's so will try them out later to!

Off to get the taties out of the oven now! Will be back later with some cards... Hopefully!

Sat here itching to make a card!

But I cant as I didnt order my blank cards early enough and I have none left now lol so I do hope that they arrive tommorrow as this is the first time I have felt this itchyness to get in my craft room and make some cards!

However, I guess some good has come out of it - I have picked up my UFO and am more than half way through it!

Dare you to Digi Stamp Challenge Two...

This weeks challenge is 'Bling'

I have made this card but I am not 100% happy with it. I have got to add 'Relax' sentiment and inside put 'Its Your Birthday' however, I cant print them off as my ink has run out! Not sure about all the zooms (Or dew drops as they may be called!) either. Would love to know what you guys think? Not a very good pic as lighting isnt very good here, and it is dark! BTW I have added white glitter to the bubbles around the bath and to the spillage, but that doesnt show up very much in the photo!

My new promarkers have arrived!

Ordered some new pro markers from Silly Monkey Crafts as they have a 15% off offer at the moment. Having gone through my markers, I have 2 duplicates so if anyone would like to swap, please let me know! I have Poppy and Amethyst to swap. I am just trying to finish a cross stitch at the moment, so wont be playing with my new set just yet. Hoping to get the spare room sorted this weekend so I can have my own space at last! I hope everyone is having a lovely easter and not eating to many eggs!

I have made this card for my friend/colleague Claire, who has recently got a new job within a different team at work. She doesnt have much confidence and is FOREVER putting herself down, and we are always telling her 'You can do it!' so this card is perfect for her!

I cant believe it!

On another note, been to doctors, and am on anti-biotics for 5 days, 3 tablets a day.
Hopefully they will sort me out. Gonna cheer myself up by spending some pennies me thinks!
