Not good when you have recently been diagnosed with Asthma too, so feeling a bit sorry for myself. I mean, I must be ill - It is now 4 days after pay day and I havent bought any crafty bits yet! QUICK... Someone get me to a doctor! lol Will post some pics of the cards up tommorrow, when I get a chance.

Hope everyone is doing OK xx

I am on the scrounge!

I have just come across LeLo Designs, and am on the scrounge. Is there anyone in the land of Blogs that would be willing to stamp me some of these cuties? I can either send you some stamped images (I have the Magnolia Spring Kit and a couple of Elzybells stamps) or I can pay you? I would be eternally grateful to anyone who can help me! Please leave me a comment with yoru email address if you can help, and I will pop you an email.

Papertake Weekly Challenge - Pink, Orange and Brown - Hot chocolate???!!!

I came across this challenge whilst blog hopping (As usual!) and thought I would give it a try! Here is my entry:

Sorry for the naff photo, will maybe try scanning it in tommorrow.

This card came in quite handy actually, as my best friend has dislocated her shoulder again, and may have to have an operation - we will find out tommorrow! So my plan was to send her this with some Options hot chocolate pouches and some WW chocolate bars to cheer her up as I dont think she will be at work for a while! The sentiment says 'There is nothing better than a friend... Unless it is a friend with chocolate!'

Please let me know what you think as I am not 100% sure about it lol

Red Nose Week 2009

Here are some yummies that I have made today for work tommorrow. As its Red Nose Day on Friday, we normally do baking all week and some other form of competition (We are doing a guess the baby competition this year!).

Firstly, its my Rice Krispie slab (Have made two of these!) with Marshmellows! This one always goes down a treat!

Next we have chocolate chip cookies which Alex helped me make!

And lastly, my first attempt at chocolate and peanut butter cups. I was well impressed with the way these came out - I used silicon cake cases which I bought from Asda for £2 - what a bargain!

I will let you know at the end of the week how much we raise!

I've finally had the time..

to do some crafting!
Been really busy (Or trying to keep myself busy rather!) the past few weeks.
Had some bad news about my nan - she has been diagnosed with Lymphoma Cancer. She is 80 this year, and they have told her luckily they have caught it early, and that it is the slow growing cancer. I have been diagnosed with Asthma after several tests at the doctors. Is a bit scarry really. It was Alex's birthday last Wednesday, so we have been busy this weekend, but I was determined to pick up my papers and make a couple of cards - Have managed this..

I though it looked very spring/summery like, and bright. I am also going to enter it into the Pollycraft Challenge 9 - Think Pink.

I hope to be back a bit more often, so hopefully will keep you all up to date with whats happening! Sorry to have been awol for a while.
