Yay me!

Catch up time!

Phew, what a mad few weeks it has been! I have hardly done any crafting! I went to visit my dad and nan in Paignton from last Thursday and got home on the following Monday. We had a lovely time, I unfortunately didnt get to visit the hobby centre, we went up on the Saturday and it was shut - Oh well. Saved up £200 for my visit down there, and hardly spent a penny so have been splashing out a bit on crafting stuff! I have just ordered the Joanna Sheens Messy Rabbit Christmas CD which looks lovely so cant wait to play with that!

Heres my attempts at Nans 80th cake! I think it went OK for my first go anyway!





I made this Peter Rabbit christening card for a friend at work and her Aunty has took a shine to my skills and offered to sell some of my cards in her farm shop! (Not sure about it yet though as I havent got enough stock made up yet!). The card did have a sentiment on it, but for some reason, I have lost some of my photos!



And I am in the process of making my own website for selling my cards and such likes! Its ALL GO!

An uber quick posting from moi!

Am back from dads, nan loved her cake and presents (Will upload photo and stuff tommorrow!)

Went on a bit of a spending spree tonight at The Range and fell in love with these cute Forever Friends decoupage kits! This one is my FAV!

I would like to enter it into the Allsorts Challenge blog which is to use 'Snowflakes' - I have used some paper mania snowflake brads and a big snowflake metal charm/brad (From a RAK!)





It is very girly! And very me... Can you write a card to yourself?! ;)

Back again!

With the card, as promised! This card is made for a colleagues mum, from their grandchildren!

I am going to enter this one into the I ♥ Promarkers Challenge No. 2 which is to follow a sketch. I have given this the 3D look as I thought it may look a bit better than being flat! Instead of using ribbon for the strip that goes across the middle, I have cut a 1cm piece of spotty backing paper and layered it onto the same colour cardstock as the background.





Recipe:
Image - Pink Petticoat
Colours Used - Apple, Meadow Green, Blossom, Ice Grey 2 and Cool Aqua
Cardstock - Blue & spotty from stash
Sentiment - PC made
Other - Stickles used on the bubbles/water, 'I cant believe their not brads' from stash

A week has passed..

And I have managed to make a few bits!

This is my first EVER sock monkey! I got this idea from the Money Saving Expert forum. They do have some really good ideas on there, some of which I will be doing this year for christmas gifts! She is made from 1 pair of socks from Asda, a bit of DMC thread and two buttons! Simples! (My stitching is a bit naff, cant wait to get my sewing machine from my lovely MUM!).



This isnt complete. It is meant to be a flannel cupcake, and meant to be swirly, but I bought 4 flannels and they were to thick so looks like I am going to have to make four of them (Oh dear lol). It will eventually have a bath pearl or something similar on the top to make it look like a cupcake, then into some cellophane with a bit of ribbon and tag!



I am making mum a hamper this year for christmas, mainly handmade stuff. So far I have got some NSpa Chocolate Fudge shower gel, my chocolate flannel cupcake, some snowman soup, reindeer poop, a chocolate muffin bath bomb, a few chocolate candles and some other bits and bobs. Theme is chocolate lol

I have also made a card this weekend, for an order at work, of which I have another 7 to do! Earns me a few pennies I guess! Will pop a photo up once I have finished it (Gotta print the sentiment off!). Sorry for the essay, just felt the need to WaFfLe LOL
