Here it is!

This is what I have been working on! Im really impressed with the way it turned out - OK so my tacking stitches arent quite straight, but I thought thats the whole point to hand made - Its all about personalising gifts, and I personalised this stocking with my crappy stitching lol The feathers were a pain to tack down, but I DID IT! Only another two more to make lol

DCD Challenge #6 - Black and White

Here is my entry for this weeks challenge over at Die Cuts Challenge blog. This week, the theme is black and white, and I have made another corset type card! The frills took me forever to do being as they are little flower petals cut up! Took me ages, but I got there, and I like the results!

I am happy to report that my bug is returning, slowly! I have managed to do a bit of stitching (I am making my little brother a christmas stocking to take up with us when we got!) which is coming along nicely! Will have some photos to show this afternoon as I am off to Dunn Elm to get some red felt!

Yay I have found my bug!

At long last! It has finally come back!

Here are two recent makes. First is a card for a colleague/friend who I work with. She is going to be 22 next Tuesday. As she has a degree in fashion design, and LOVES pink and black I thought this would be great! I downloaded an image of a corset and used Papermania Sticky Gems to embellesh it. I then added the flower, and around the leg and chest part of the corset, I added the petals from the same flower! Bit fiddly, but I think it works well! The tag is made using my new Sizzix Sidekick which I love!

Then, I made this one for the Pollycraft Monday challenge. The challenge was to use arrows, which I have done again using the 'Tag' Sizzlit. I enjoyed making this card, as it is my utmost FAV digistamp, and these are my fav colours to!

Ahhhh...

Swine flu is now a bit to close to home for my liking! Our care taker at work has been working at the Central Fire Station where there has been 2 confirmed cases of it - It will be just my luck that when it finally arrives at work, I will be one to catch it! BAHHH!
Anyway, I am now the proud owner (Well nearly, just paid for it lol) of a Sizzix Sidekick machine! I am hoping that with playing with that, I will get my crafty bug back in no time - I have an order to make 4 birthday party invitations for my boss, which she requires to be pink and girly (For her 8 year old daughter!) so hopefully, I will pull something out of the hat this weekend.
I have had a quick play with my new magnolias, but nothing good enough to show! (I only coloured the face and hair in on one of them!)
CRAFTY BUG, OH CRAFTY BUG, WHERE ARE YOOOOOOOU!
