Photos...

as promised - I cant upload the photos from all the cards I have made yet because I need to post them out to Donna and want her to see them first! But I will schedule a post (If I learn how lol) for thursday which will show them all!

Anyway, I chose to show you a photo of this card because I really like this style! It is so simple, which is why I love it! I cant take credit for the images as they are colouring pages (Newton's Law!). I printed them on to textured card (Its got like a linen effect to it) and coloured them in using my Koh I Noor pencils. I havent bothered to blend the pencils because I think they look ok as they are!

And a close up:

And onto my next project! This was meant to be decoupage for a card, however, Alex works for the Finance company that Ikea uses and they often get little bits and bobs from Ikea given to them! He came home with this photoframe, which I was going to chuck in the cupboard (As you do!) but I decided this was going to be for me! To go in my craft room, along with the others I intend to make!

I hope you like them xx

A quick update! :)

Hello from me!

I have had a day off today from work, as I had the dreaded dentist! (Havent been for 7 years or so, and was dreading it! Had to have one filling and thats it! Well pleased as I didnt have to have the injection either as it was in my baby tooth!). I have been sorting out my craft room to, trying to get myself organised! (I use the word 'trying' loosely! lol).

Anyway, I wanted to share these with you - Thanks to Debbie for the recipe! And I see what you mean about yum! Malteser Cakes!

I must say, these are absolute YUM! And no, I shouldnt be eating them but sod it!

I have also had some great news! Donna from Blue Groove Crafts put an advert on Craft Bubble about cards for her new shop, and I am delighted that she has picked me to be one of the suppliers! (YIPPEE!)

URGENT! HELP NEEDED!

OK, so I have made my mum some chocolates for mothers day, and she is all the way in Edinburgh. I didnt think of how I was going to present them (Packaging!! Unlike me not to think haha typical Katie!). So, I have found a chinese takeaway pot and was going to pop in some greaseproof paper and send them in that, but its not very 'Pretty' if you know what I mean!

Does anyone know where I can get some decent packaging for these? Like an acrylic box type styley thing? It obviously needs to be air tight!

Unless anyone has any other bright ideas that i could come up with?

Thanks in advance xx

And another Mothers Day card!

Alex had asked me to make him a Mothers Day card for his mum. She isnt into cute/cuddly, more into funny and I thought this image fitted that bill perfectly! This is one of my stamps from Stampavie, along with 'Roses for you', the cute little frog!

I think (Finally!!) my Mojo is on its way back for sure, I just need to sort out my craft room, which I have been on about doing for a few weeks now! I may just get around to doing that this afternoon!

Recipe:
Cardstock: Papermill Shop
Backing Paper: A random stack (From the same as my previous card!)
Image: Stampavie
Colour Medium Used: ProMarkers (Cool Grey 2, yellow, orange, pearl blue and rose pink)
Stickles

Close up of stickles:

I just need to sort a 'Nan' card now, as I always send my nan a card on mothers day, which I may be back with later!

Challenges:
Paper Sundaes - Sketch (I have followed the sketch, but you cant really see the blue embossed paper under the 'Mum')

Mothers Day card (And a couple of challenges!)

I decided to follow along with a great sketch from the Create4fun challenge blog, and thought as it is mothers day next week, I could make my mothers day card to! I have used my new stamps from the CC Designs Spring Kit, which I love! I made the MUM wordss by using Microsoft word, printing the letters in black then using them as a template!

Recipe:
Cardstock: Papermill Shop
Backing Paper: Random Stack - Not sure of the name
Image: CC Designs Spring Kit
Colour Medium: ProMarkers (Blush, Sunkissed Pink, Almond, Blossom, Rose Pink and Sandstone)
Ribbon/Flowers/Shimmer dots: from stash
Stickles

A close up of the stickles:

I think I have cracked colouring in faces with Promarkers, but I havent succeeded with the hair yet - I guess it comes with practise!

Challenges:
Create4fun - Sketch
Passion for ProMarkers - Back to Nature (Image)
PaperTake Weekly - Buttons, Bows, Brads and Bling (Brads & Bling)
Creative Craft - Thank You (For being a great mum!)
