Passion for Pro Markers - Challenge 4

Here is a card I made for an order (Fathers Day) which I thought would fit in with this weeks challenge over at Passion for Pro Markers, which is Berry Red and Royal Blue

Colours I have used:

Berry Red

Royal Blue

Cool Grey 2

Blossom

Sandstone

Cinnamon

Here is a close up of the paint tin, which I cut the hand off, and used some metallic thread which I think makes it a bit more effective

Some Elzybells Candy!

Whilst browsing the DT members for Elzybells have a bit of candy up for grabs.

Fisrtly, we have Charlene's Candy which ends 27th June

I must admit, I have seen some of the sneak peaks that the design team have come up with and they look a treat! So I may just have to invest in some of those babies when they come out!

I am sorry I havent been on here to post some photos, but I havent felt up to crafting this weekend. I still have my rotten cold, seem to be sneezing every 5 minutes, watery eyes, shiverys, hots and colds, just feel really shattered. I know I must be ill because my new ribbons, buttons and flowers came from poppicrafts yesterday and they are still sat in the box on the table :(

We have been out for a walk just now, and there was this baby cygnet (Baby swan!) that was in the bottom of the canal on its own (If you can imagine, we live near an old lock was so its like a huge couple of stairs so baby ducks cant get up it yet!). The rest of the group where at the top of the canal so we enticed the rest of the group down the stairs with some bread, including mum who seemed to be chirping away when it reached the babies! Was chuffed to see them re-united!

Anyway, I am off to bed now, gotta try and perk up a bit for work tommorrow. I have promised one of my lucky followers some goodies and as I havent been feeling great, I am going to add a few extras in to the box for good measures :) That I am hoping will be monday or tuesday this week... Names will automatically go into the draw so you dont need to comment.

I have been naughty!

I shouldnt have really because I am meant to be saving for my trip up to see mum, but I ordered myself the weekly bundle from Elzybells today - It is a lovely christmas set, worth over £28 for just £14.40 (With 10% off it to!). I couldnt turn it down!

I suggest if you are lokoing for some new stamps that you get over there as they ahev some fab delas on at the mo...

Oh... I forgot my giveaway!

Boohoo, my Laptop is dieing! :(

Am posting from the OH's computer as my laptop is on its last legs! :( Alex is trying to re-format it so hopefully I will be up and running soon! I havent done much crafting today, but I have took my first steps into jewellry making! It is my mums 50th Birthday this year, and I wanted to make her something special! I plan to buy her £50 worth of clothes shop vouchers because she doesnt treat herself much as she has my little bro to fork out for so if I get vouchers, she has to spend them on her!

On to what I have ordered! I thought I like the look of the swarovski crystals, so am making her a charm bracelet with 7 fushcia flowers, 6 rose butterflies and some 4mm bicones! Excited and cant wait til they come! Need to get myself some pliers first before I can play!

I just wanted to say what FANTASTIC service I have recieved from Susie at Die Cut Dreams.

She sells all sorts of lovely die cuts, from layering shapes to yummy cakes! Super fast delivery to, and not expensive, so if you are looking for something to brighten up your cards/scrapbooks I suggest you get yourself over to her shop!

I will be making a card with the goodies I bought from her tommorrow night (Hopefully!) so will post a photo back then.

A few cards from me!

Am quite chuffed with myself as I didnt think I would be able to sell my cards.
BUT, I took a few to work with me, and ended up selling 5 and got an order for another 10!
I am selling my cards at £2 each, cross stitched ones £3 (I havent managed to make any stitched cards yet!).

With my profits, I bought myself a heat gun (As I wanted one for candles! Also to try out shrink plastic!). I am also excited as 1) the Wii I won arrived on Tuesday, so I now know it was not a scam (You never know with some things!) and 2) I am going up to Edinburgh to see my mum in December! I know its ages away, but I havent seen my mum for over a year now!

Not much from me lately!

I have been crafting, but experimenting rather than making cards (I think I have knackered myself out since doing 7 cards that week lol). On the plus side, I have set up a card website for me to sell my cards at work and to family and friends. I already have an order for 6 cards which the first one is due on June 30th so better get cracking with them soon!

I have bought a bow maker from Ebay and it arrived today which I have been having a play with. My task these next few weeks is to get going on some cross stitch cover kits and turn them into cards. I have 35 kits, so might take me a while lol I am also going to start making the Mr Men/Little Miss cards being as the papers and stuff have come out - I have a few cross stitch patterns for them to, and they are really quick ones so watch this space!

Yay! I have won...

I leave all my cards without sentiment, as I am trying to build up a stash of ready made cards to be able to sell them at work. That way I can personalize each individual one to the persons wants!
