Looking back over 2011, and forward to 2012...

OK so I know I haven't blogged here for like AGES but I do have my good reasons!

This year has been a bit bad, and I hope that next year will be A LOT better for all of us.

I'm not sure if my Mum will be reading this, but in October, we found out she had bladder cancer and on November 9th she underwent surgery to have it all removed as well has a hysterectomy for precautions. I can now report though that she is recovering from the operation BRILLIANTLY and is stronger than ever. My mum is one strong, determined lady and wont let ANYTHING beat her, which is amazing! Love and hugs to ya mum if you do read this! xxxx

The move I mentioned in one of my previous posts is no longer going ahead. Alex had been offered a job over in Sweden, and we was to move over there for a couple of years but that has been turned down due to a few things.

And on to 2012...

Things planned for this next year, well, hopefully get a mortgage and our own house, Loose weight (As it is every year lol), become DEBT FREE for April 2012, Stop buying crafty stuff that I dont use, and all in all, have a brilliant year.

However you plan to celebrate the new year, have fun and do it safe! :)

OK alot has been happening!!

And that's why I am currently not back in the land of blogging.

I am currently staying at my mums for a couple of weeks, due to something that I don't wish to share right now. Anyway!

I have been creating a few digi pages and thought I would upload them here to show you all!

Firstly, I have created a page for my Brothers dog, Sally, who sadly passed away on 05/11/11 due to old age.

Next is a page I done a while back, with my three girls on it! These are my gorgeous nieces, Erin-Faye, Gracie-Rae and April Michelle.

Next is a layout I done of photos from my family. Top to bottom: Gracie Rae, My Brother - Harry, My other half - Alex, My Brother again with my Mum, Erin Faye and April Michelle.

Next layout is a nice girlie one of my Niece, Erin Faye. I made this layout following challenge 18 on the Shabby Princess Blog

Im sure I will be back in the land of blogging soon, I am due to go home from my mums on Nov 26th. I will be back!

Ichthyosis Awareness Week!! - A Monkey Auction!

My Mum, My Sister, Me and My Niece all have EKV which is a type of Ichthyosis. What a busy few weeks!!

Sorry I have been awol, someone has stolen my crafty bug. However, it is coming back.. All be it slowly...

Anyway, bit of an update from me!!

Firstly, we have been on hols! :) We went to Tenerife for a week, I have only ever been abroad the once, and again, that was to Tenerife! lol But as we got a good deal on the apartment, and flights were dead cheap, we couldn't really turn it down. And I am happy we did go, as it has done my skin the world of good, and it feels like I now have a new pair of legs!

Secondly, there may be a possible move for me and Alex, in the next year or so. A big move. A move away from the UK. But that's all I am saying until it finally happens (At which time, I may do a BIG candy, and make it fun by making you guess where we are moving to...!)

Thirdly, I am going to my very first SU Card making class! We have an internal message board at work, and Sandrina had posted on there about her class nights, and being as its only 5 minutes away, I couldn't really turn it down. That's scheduled for September 28th, which I am dead excited about.

Next, I am going to spend some time with my Nan at the end of this month (Happy Birthday Nan, btw! I know your not going to read this but hey!). Dad is going to Italy for a week, and as he is her full time career, I will be going down to keep an eye on her and make sure she is OK, as-well as spending some time with her. As I am travelling back by train, I have to travel light so will be packing some cross stitches to do whilst i'm there! Plus, Nan is a fab knitter and she is going to teach me to knit so I can make some winter hats for my monkeys! Yippee! :)

Anyway, I best dash now as I have to nip to the Post Office, as-well as Morrisons to pick up some ingredients for the carrot cake I am making today! I have a few cards to make for Birthdays, so hopefully, you will see more of me from now on!!
