He lives in a pineapple under the sea...

This box card I have made for my Niece, Erin, who will be 3 in a couple of weeks time. Like me, she is mad on Sponge bob! When I found this box card cut file, I had to have a go at making one! The first one I made is for a friends baby who is going to be 1 in a few weeks time. I wasn't 100% happy with it, so will no doubt give it a bit of something different!

So, I made this one for my little Bob pants! All using my Silhouette Cameo (the images are all print and cut features!). Instead of using cocktail sticks to hold Sponge bob and Patrick up, I have used Acetate which makes it look a lot nicer.

Today I have been playing around with my new Spectrum Noir pencils and coloured a few images. Ill hopefully get them on to a card tomorrow. Its the H's birthday tomorrow and I think (Or hope!!) that we will be going somewhere nice for the day, weather permitting of course!

This weekend consisted of tidying and clearing some of the crap from my craft room and getting myself organised in the hope that my mojo would return. And it has! :)

PS - I also made this cake:

For Dan at work, as we didn't make it out for his messy night out. The symbol is from Assassins Creed, which was hand cut by yours truly! The inside was black vanilla cake with red cherry butter cream!

Stepping down...

So, I have taken the sad decision to step down from my DT position with Crafters Companion. To much has been going on with my private life these past few months and I have not been able to fulfill the requirements of the job due to one thing or another. However, the lovely Sharon Callis has said that when I am back and ready to get going again, she will have me back, which I am really grateful for as the DT girl's are a good bunch.

I will be back, once everything is sorted.

Whilst I'm mentioning, there is a DT call for Crafters Companion on Leanns blog. Im not sure how to link using this app but check out her Facebook page, she has the link there. And lastly, get applying!!

What did Ho Ho bring you?

Its been a while since I updated my blog on a personal note, so here goes!

We had an early Christmas with my Sister, Brother in law and Nieces, this time at my house! Nanny paid for the girls to see Father Christmas at our local garden centre (Wheatcrofts) which was lovely.
You did have to queue for a while, in a stinky tent with pigs, sheep, goats and donkeys (Which was really stinky!) but we had a lovely day. Erin is only 2 and a bit and she didn't want to sit with Father Christmas - Understandable really, I am sure he looks scary to a child at that age! :)
(Gracie with a donkey)

Then we nipped off to The Goose for a bite to eat, then it was back to mine to open presents!
Oh how I cant wait until I have children of my own. Erin is very much into Spongebob, and everything I bought her was Spongebob - She has good taste, just like her Aunty Katie lol

Anyway, on to our Christmas day! I wasn't too good, so Alex did do the majority of cooking, But I did the turkey and stuffing! There was quite a few presents under our tree :) So I must have been a good girl this year! lol Anyway, I got this lovely ring from Swarovski, which was on my list last year, but I got a Nintendo 3DS XL instead.

I also got some DKNY Be delicious perfume, a glass cutting mat for my craft room, a lovely bracelet from a good friend, as well as other little bits and bobs.

And this...

Those that know me, know I am a HUGE Example fan! :) This was a Secret Santa present that we did with work. I was over the moon with this, so much so, its in a frame now and will be taking pride place on my craft room wall!

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New Year. I have a couple of resolutions, including keeping my blog up to date and loosing weight, those of which will start tomorrow.

Bebunni Love & Baby (Photo heavy!)

Crafters Companion launched an addition to their Bebunni range on Friday, this time the theme for the range is Love and Baby! And they are both totally gorgeous!

I haven't updated my blog here due to having gastric flu over the Christmas period. I did have a lovely Christmas and a quiet New Year, I will be back share photos of what the man in the Red Suit bought me! :)

On to my samples for Bebunni...

These first few were made using the Bebunni Love Collection Papercrafting kit, which can be purchased here.

This next lot was made using the Baby Collection Papercrafting kit, which can be found here.

This next lot was made using the Love CD Rom, which can be purchased here.

Now, I have something to say about these shaped cards. They have always frightened me for some reason, but having given them a go, they come together really quick and are a delight to make! I am no good at cutting free hand, but these weren't hard at all! One thing I will do next time I make them is to print on the inside of the card as well. I didn't think about doing that at the time.

And finally, these are from the Baby CD Rom, which can be purchased here.

Another thing which I tried was Megapage. Its the same as decoupage but MEGA in size! :)

I love this range, and I am sure I will no doubt be using the baby one a bit this year as I have a couple of friends who are expecting!

Another Embossalicious make!

Recipe:
Card Stock - Centural Pearl Lights
Embossing Folder - A4 Cherry-licious

These milk cartons were cut using my Silhouette Cameo, which I love because it feels like cheating when making boxes because they come together so quick! :) (Plus, I am not so good with an embossing board and cutting straight lines lol). I embossed a sheet of Centura Pearl in Snow White and cut a few of the cherris out to embellesh the boxes. All together, I am quiet happy with how this one has turned out!

Please pop back tomorrow for another project!

Embossalicious POD

I am here today to share with you one of my DT cards made using the Embossalicious embossing folders.

Cardstock - Coredinations So mod
Designer Papers - Unknown, from stash!
Embossing Folder -  A4 Picnic Plaid
Stamp - Sentimentals, Friends & Family
Spectrum Noir pen (For the 'Family' & 'Love')

A gorgeous new range!

Crafters Companion are releasing a gorgeous new range called Bebunni.
The new range will be launching on 18th October, and will contain 2 CD Roms, stamps and a papercrafting kit.

Times have been a bit hectic for me, and that's my reasoning behind not blogging as much. Within the space of 6 weeks, I have been to Edinburgh to see my Mum, Venice with the OH, PASSED MY DRIVING TEST (Yippee!) and am now typing this from the living of my Dad's in Paignton! As soon as I am back home, I will be concentrating on blogging more often, making more cards and practising with my spectrum noir pens as I need to get to grips with the shading and blending!

A very busy few weeks... (Photo Heavy!)

I have had a very busy few weeks recently and that is my reasons for neglecting my blog! :(

I have spent a week with my mum in Edinburgh and then back home for three days and then we flew to Venice for 3 nights. Venice is a beautiful place, go see it if you can! :)

On to some cards from me, these are from the new range from Crafters Companion - Makey Bakey Mice!

These are from the Hunkydory Papercrafting kit - It is such a lovely kit, as usual for Hunkydory!

These next lot are from the CD Rom collection

And these final ones are made using the rubber stamps

I have one more trip planned in the next two weeks, and after than I will be back concentrating on my crafting and updating this blog more often! :)
