A quick update!

I have lost mybug again (I am blaming Facebook as I am addicted to Cafe World lol Saddo eh!) but hoping to get around to making a few more cards this weekend! I have managed to get most of my christmas shopping done, and went back to Weight Watchers on Tuesday and lost another 5 and a half lbs which I am pleased with!
I have just taken part in the Lili of the Valley blog hop, which you can find here! Their new stamps are gorgeous! I for one will be buying some when I get paid!
Back at the weekend with some cards (Hopefully!)

GRRRR a bit of a rant!

Sorry guys, I am using this as a bit of a rant!

I posted an item out on October 1st to someone from UKScrappers. Got proof of postage etc. Item STILL hasnt turned up. Was in a massive box so I dont know how it has gotten lost! Anway, I have asked the buyer to bare with me while I put a claim in with Royal Mail as from my understanding, she will have to sign a consent form to say she hasnt recieved the items. Last night, I get a Paypal invoice from her, requesting I send her the payment back. I can understand her point of view, but there has been a lot of cases on UKS where people have re-funded the items, and when the buyer is contacted by RM, they dont sign the consent so the seller wont get their refund.

Now, I wouldnt have minded so much if it was for like £5 or something, but it was actually for £20! Something I could do without right on top of the big C word! I have posted about it on Money Saving Expert and most people say I am being unreasonable and to refund her now!

What do I do?! :|

Started back at Weight Watchers last Weds..

And my results so far...

I am 1 and a half lbs lighter!

When doing diets, I never do good in the first week like most people do, its always my second week! I have been on the Wii Fit (Plus) which I love at the mo and it has said that I have lost 3 lbs since weigh in on Weds! Fingers crossed that this time works for me please! (And that I have the wii power to stick to it...).

Back tomo with some cards hopefully!

Green!

Had a yummy postie day today! I had delivered all my yummy goodies from the Pollycraft Blog Hop (5 Clear rubber stamps and 10 promarkers) and I had a lovely letter with 3 cross stitch charts from Jackolean of Craft Bubble! I wasnt expecting them, and it was a pleasure to come home to after the crappy day I have had at work!

I couldnt wait to have a play with my new goodies, and I came up with this card. I have never really used green apart from the frogs that I have done previously, and I thought this one was quite nice! It is lacking a sentiment, but as I dont know what I will be using it for, I decide to leave all my cards without sentiments (Unless its for an order or a christmas card!). That way I can print my own!

Anyone found a bug?

My bug that is?! If so, give it a BIG kick up the bum and send it home... I have cards needing to be done...!

Monday, 5 October 2009

Woohoo I am back!

I have been awol for a while, but now I am back, with a new laptop! :)

My old one had died so I sold it on Ebay and put the money I got towards this brand spanking new one! Anyway, I have some bits to show you as promised in my post the other day!

Here are some Snowman Soups I have made. Its just basically hot chocolate with chocolate chips and marshmellows, I just have to make some labels with a poem on. I got this idea from Money Saving expert again, they have some really good ideas on there!

Next are a few cards I done, made to order. I did have more to show but I forgot to take a photo of them as I was in a bit of a rush to get them sorted (Friend is going to Thailand tommorrow and she needed them before she left - there was 7 in total!).

These are only some of them! And next, is an addition to my mums Christmas hamper, something which I couldnt resist!

He isnt chocolate, but as her hamper has a fudge and chocolate theme, I couldnt not buy him!

Catch up time!

Phew, what a mad few weeks it has been! I have hardly done any crafting! I went to visit my dad and nan in Paignton from last Thursday and got home on the following Monday. We had a lovely time, I unfortunately didnt get to visit the hobby centre, we went up on the Saturday and it was shut - Oh well. Saved up £200 for my visit down there, and hardly spent a penny so have been splashing out a bit on crafting stuff! I have just ordered the Joanna Sheens Messy Rabbit Christmas CD which looks lovely so cant wait to play with that!

Heres my attempts at Nans 80th cake! I think it went OK for my first go anyway!

I made this Peter Rabbit christening card for a friend at work and her Aunty has took a shine to my skills and offered to sell some of my cards in her farm shop! (Not sure about it yet though as I havent got enough stock made up yet!). The card did have a sentiment on it, but for some reason, I have lost some of my photos!

And I am in the process of making my own website for selling my cards and such likes! Its ALL GO!

Here are some photos I thought I would share with you guys from our trip!

These amazing coloured ducks, again in Dawlish

Thats it from me for now, i'll hopefully be back tommorrow with some CARD photos! :) Hope you are all having a lovely weekend xx
