Need help from you experienced crafters!

OK, so I need somewhere to store my stamped images (I currently have them in a gift bag on my bookshelf!). I have found the perfect box that I want to use (Its an empty washing powder box - tablets so theres no leakage of powder!) but im not sure how to cover it! I could measure out the card and glue it on, but I dont want to still see the edges, and I want it to look neat and tidy! (Rather than a half-a-jobby that I tried on my last attempt!). Any ideas of where to start?

Ta muchly, any advice would be truely, greatly appreciated!

What's the dimensions Katie? You could do a patchwork effect, go round the corners rather than 4 seperate peices each side. Or get some of that paper on a role and stamp, paint stipple the paper and use that as a continuous piece around the box.

Definately best to go round the corners and if you use a variety of papers it wont matter if everything doesn't measure up exactly...it'll just look funky...and I'd definately paint with acrylic paint first...covers a multitude of sins!!!

Ditto to the painting first but lightly sand before painting. Paint adheres better & dries quicker.

When I changed one of my boxes, I went around the edge with bias binding material. I used my silicone glue to keep it in place. It also meant that the edges were soft . . . I know, sad ! Felt or large ribbon might work as well.

Can't wait to see what you do now ! Not putting any pressure on you mind!

Take care,

Lou
